"The City Limits" Opening Tonight!

A new year and a new exhibition. We're very excited to be helping out with the launch of the Toronto Liberty Project in our very own 44 Wide gallery. This group of young and promising photographers are hoping to make waves in the Toronto photography scene by presenting the city "like you've never seen it before."

Their first show certainly doesn't disappoint. "The City Limits" showcases some remarkable city landscapes taken from daring perspectives and often stomach-churning heights. These guys are serious when it comes to getting the best shot, even if it means scaling an under construction sky scraper or dangling their feet from vertigo-inducing perches.
We worked with the group printing and hanging the entire show and we couldn't be happier with the results.
The show kicks off tonight with an opening from 6pm-9pm right here in our gallery. Here are the details:
The City Limits Opening Night
44 Wide @ 171 East Liberty St. Unit 122

The show will be up until February 10 so make sure to drop by the gallery if you can't make it tonight. Definitely worth the trip. Also, make sure to check out Blog TO's coverage of the show here.
See you tonight!
Mediabot's Big Night
Mediabot, our photo/video/karaoke party booth, had a very successful night yesterday. Five 44-Widers headed down to the Westin Harbour Castle Conference Centre with tonnes of gear in tow to spice up software retailer Softchoice's new year's conference.
It was a packed night with plenty of set-up necessary. Green screens were hung, the conference logos were prepared, lights were turned on with cameras ready to go. We got everything up and running and had a blast snapping pics and handing out instant prints for the guests. Click "read more" to check out more set up photos and a few of the party pics. 44 Wide hits Canada's Bridal Show
44 Wide + Canada's Bridal Show = a happy union. Last weekend thousands of soon-to-be brides and grooms hit the January 2012 Canadian Bridal Show right here in Toronto. We were happy to work with wedding photographer Alan C Lee to give him one of the most eye-catching booths at the exhibition. We produced prints of all sizes and even framed them in custom white shadowboxes for that perfect bridal look. Here's what Alan had to say about working with us: “A very big thank you to 44 Wide for printing all my work. My photos looked amazing and they definitely stood out from all the other photographers at the show.” Always happy to help, Alan! Check out more of Alan's work at http://aclee.ca/. Send your wedding photos our way and we'll make them Bridal Show worthy too (even if they're just for your living room). Cheers! Workshops are Up and Running
Our classroom is in full swing and we couldn't be happier with the progress so far. We've had some amazing intro classes with amazing results. Thomas Moran leads the way into the world of Adobe Lightroom and beyond, helped by James Toth giving one on one advice throughout the lesson.
